Breakfast. Depart for a visit to one of the most important cities in the Americas during the colonial period. Upon arrival, visit the Church of La Merced, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, free time for shopping, and return to your hotel for overnight stay at the scheduled time. Free afternoon.

Breakfast. Early departure to the Chichicastenango market, located in the central Guatemalan highlands, famous for its colorful market. Visit the Santo Tomás Church. At a convenient time, depart for Lake Atitlán, surrounded by three volcanoes: Atitlán, Tolimán, and San Pedro. Its crystal-clear waters reflect the lake's natural beauty. Panoramic tour of Panajachel. At a convenient time, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Breakfast. At 8:00 a.m., we will board the boat to the scenic village of San Juan La Laguna. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a walk and visit the Catholic Church. We will then head to the chocolate cooperative to see how chocolate is made. We will then continue to the Textile Cooperative, where we will be shown how the dyes for these beautiful textiles are made. We will also visit the artisans of medicinal plants. At a convenient time, we will return to Panajachel. In the afternoon, we will transfer to Guatemala City for overnight stay.

DAY 05 GUATEMALA – FLORES – TIKAL – FORES

A packed breakfast will be delivered to you at the hotel reception. At 4:00 a.m., transfer to the airport to board your flight to Mundo Maya International Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to the most important archaeological site in the Mayan world, Tikal. Its name means "Place of Voices," and it was built during the Classic Period. Upon arrival at the Tikal Archaeological Site, our guide will show you the model of the Temple and Acropolis complex. Visit Complex Q and R, then continue to the Central Acropolis, Temples I "The Great Jaguar" and II "of the Masks," considered one of the most important within the complex. Visit the Lost World (time permitting). In the afternoon, return to the Visitor Center for lunch. At a convenient time, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 06 FLORES – YAXHÁ – FLORES – GUATEMALA

Breakfast. At the agreed-upon time, departure for the archaeological site of Yaxhá. Arrival in Yaxhá, an ancient ceremonial center and city of the pre-Columbian Mayan civilization. The site features evidence of Teotihuacan influence in its architecture and stelae. We can find the only twin pyramid outside of Tikal, also known as the Plaza of the Stelae. Lunch. At the agreed-upon time, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Guatemala. Overnight at a selected hotel in Guatemala City.

  • 120 days before the start of the trip: 50% payment of the contracted program price
  • 90 days before the start of the trip: 80% payment of the contracted program price
