Arrival in Beijing, capital of the People's Republic of China. Transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure; lunch not included. Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. During this day, we will visit: the Imperial Palace, known as the "Forbidden City," Tiananmen Square, one of the largest in the world, and the Summer Palace, which was a summer garden for the Qing Dynasty imperial household. Lunch included. OPTION: Attendance at an acrobatic show in the evening is available at an additional cost, which we will quote separately from the package, as mentioned below. Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. Excursion to the Great Wall (Juyongguan or Badaling Pass, depending on the operator's schedule), a spectacular and magnificent architectural work spanning over 2,000 years. Lunch included. In the afternoon, we return to the city and stop near the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Swimming Center) to take photos (without entering the stadiums). We will conclude with a welcome dinner featuring delicious Peking Roast Duck. Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. Visit to the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 on a 267-hectare site where emperors prayed for good harvests. Lunch included. In the afternoon, transfer to the train station to take the Economy Class high-speed train to Xi'an (option: transfer to the airport for the same flight from BJS to Xian for a supplement). Xi'an is the ancient capital of China, dating back 3,000 years. It is the only walled capital and the starting point of the famous Silk Road. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. Today we will visit the famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which houses more than 6,000 life-size figures representing a vast army of warriors, horses, and chariots guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin. Lunch is included. In the afternoon, we will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (no climbing required), located within the Jianfu Temple, approximately one kilometer south of urban Xi'an. We will conclude with a visit to the Muslim Quarter (no entry into the Great Mosque). Overnight stay.

DAY 06 XI’AN – CHONGQING (HIGH-SPEED TRAIN)

Buffet breakfast. Transfer to the train station to take the high-speed train to Chongqing. Lunch is NOT included. Panoramic tour of the city and transfer to the port to board the Century Cruises or Victoria Cruises cruise (depending on the departure date). Dinner and overnight stay on board.


*Important Note: If the ships are unable to dock at the Chongqing pier due to bad weather, the shipping company will dispatch buses to transfer all passengers to the next port for embarkation. Please note that this transfer will take approximately 2.5 hours, with staff who only speak Chinese. These changes, beyond the control of the traveler, will be made without prior notice and will not incur any refund.

Full board. In the morning, we'll tour the two gorges: Qutangxia (8 km) and Wuxia (45 km). In the afternoon, we'll take a cruise along the Goddess River (Shennv) or the Shennong River (one of the two, depending on the boat company's schedule).

In the morning, disembark and board a bus to visit the world-famous and colossal Three Gorges Waterworks. From there, continue by bus to Yichang. Transfer to Yichang Train Station to take the high-speed train to Shanghai. Lunch is not included. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

If extra nights are booked at your own expense, the operator will assume that the corresponding arrival or departure transfer on the regularly scheduled date has already been voluntarily abandoned, with no refund. Transfers outside the scheduled date will also be at your own expense.

TRIPLE rooms in China consist of a Double or Twin room with a fold-down bed, which is not as large as a standard bed. Therefore, triple rooms may cause discomfort; therefore, we suggest booking a Double + Single room in such cases.
